Advance Medical Practice has cared for families across Westmead and Western Sydney for many years. We do everyday general practice, with doctors who take the time to get to know you and your history.
Walk-ins welcome, subject to availability on the day.

No out-of-pocket cost with a valid Medicare or DVA card.
Open six days
Monday to Saturday, including walk-in appointments.

In the Westmead health precinct, a short walk from Westmead Station.
What we do
From a sore throat to long-term condition management, most of what you need is handled here, including imaging, hearing and cardiac testing on site.
Everyday care for every age, from childhood through to older adults.
Full skin examinations, spot checks and minor procedures.
Flu, travel and routine childhood immunisations.
Imaging at the practice every Tuesday, 12:30pm to 3:30pm.
Workplace injury management and pre-employment assessments.
Diabetes management led by our nurse practitioner.
Fees
Consultations are bulk billed for patients presenting a valid Medicare card or Department of Veterans’ Affairs card. There is nothing to pay at the time of your visit.
Do not have a Medicare card? You may still be able to claim through private, overseas visitor or overseas student cover.
Advance Medical Practice Westmead is an accredited teaching practice. We host medical students from Australian universities during their clinical placements, and you will always be asked before a student is present for your consultation.
